Activate a license key

1. Open the license window.
2. Paste your key in the License key field. You can also use the Paste from Clipboard button.
3. If your license was provided as a file, select it with Load from File…. .lic, .key, and .txt files are accepted.
4. Finish with the Activate or Save License button shown on screen.
5. Check the success message and active license status.

Spaces and invisible characters in the key are cleaned up automatically. The “MQ-” prefix isn’t case-sensitive. If you press the button while the field is empty, you’ll see the “Enter your license key first.” warning. When successful, it says “License verified and saved.”

You need the internet for your first activation; after that, your license works offline. This doesn’t mean other tasks that need the internet, such as downloading updates, can be done without a connection.

To use another key, you can choose Enter Different Key…. Typing in the key doesn’t mean activation is complete; check that the final status is active.

Use the Buy License button offered in the window to get a license. If purchasing isn’t available yet, the dimmed “Buy (Coming Soon)” appears in its place.
