Track an export in Machine

When you start an export, you don’t need to stay in the same window and wait for it to finish. The export window closes, and the “Export is running in Machine — {klasör}” notification appears. You can keep culling your footage in the meantime.

  1. To see its status, check the Machine → Exporting row.
  2. If you open Export again while the job is running, you’ll see “A transfer is in progress · View in Machine”.
  3. If you prepare another transfer, use Add to queue to add it to the waiting jobs. It appears in Machine as “{ad} — queued”.
  4. If you no longer want a waiting transfer, use the Cancel button in its row.

When does the job report open?

  • If there’s a problem, the report opens right away. For example, if the destination disk is full, a file couldn’t be transferred, or its copy couldn’t be verified.
  • If the transfer finishes without a problem while you’re culling, the report won’t interrupt your work. You’ll get a notification with a Show report button while a preview or Duel is open, or while reviewing queued clips.
  • If the transfer finishes without a problem and you haven’t been using the app for a while, the report opens automatically.
  • If you stopped the transfer, the report doesn’t open automatically.

If you also selected an editing project during export, its project file is prepared separately when the job finishes.

If a license is needed to resume an unfinished export, Machine shows the reason it’s waiting. Activate your license, then resume the job with Resume.
