Place multiple clips together
You don’t have to fill slots one at a time:
- Select multiple clips in your library.
- Drag the selected clips to the slot where you want to start placing them.
- The first clip goes in the slot you drop it on; the others go in the empty slots that follow.
- Check the result. If some clips didn’t fit, add slots or place them separately.
If the first target slot is filled, it can be replaced. The following clips go into empty slots instead of overwriting filled ones. Clips already in the same list aren’t added again.
You may see these notifications:
- N clips didn’t fit: no empty slots left after this one.
- N rejected clips weren’t added to the list.
You can undo the entire batch placement with a single ⌘Z.
