Remove a source from the list

If you no longer want a folder to appear in the source list:

1. Find the source in the All filters → Where from → Source row.
2. Click the × button beside the chip (tooltip: “Removes this source from the list without deleting its clips.”).

Merceq doesn’t ask for confirmation. This removes the source row; it doesn’t delete clips or video files. It also doesn’t disconnect the disk. If you want to use the source again, you can show the folder again through import.

Your cameras, shoot times, and sources are more organized now. In the next section, we’ll get to know background jobs, notifications, and the Sense, Link, and Recall tools.
