3 · Cull your clips and sort them into folders
View and cull your clips in list view
list is the third view, where you can compare your clips side by side by file details instead of image cards. Choose list in the top bar or press ⌘2. Each row shows the clip’s name, decision, length, resolution, frame rate, codec, camera, disk, size, date, and tags. Click a column heading to sort, or press Space to open the video and view the image.
Use the buttons in the row’s Decision field or the F / R keys to put a clip on hold or reject it; sort clips into folders with 1–9. Double-click its name to rename the clip in Merceq; the source file’s name won’t change. ⌘-click multiple rows to select them, extend the range with Shift, and make a decision for the selected clips together. The right-click menu also gives you access to preview, folder, tag, note, and file actions. Active searches and filters apply in list view too.
