Machine

Track background tasks with the Machine button in the top bar. The button has a status light and a thin progress line.

Click Machine to open a window showing:

• The current task’s name and completion percentage. It may say, for example, “Preparing previews” or “Sense is analysing images”. If there’s no task in progress, Machine looks idle.
• A short list of queued tasks.
• Pause, Resume, Stop, and Cancel buttons.

You can also track imports and exports through Machine. When you start an export, its window closes and the task continues in the background under Machine.

The Backups window opened by the back up button is separate from Machine.
