Restore a file from the macOS Trash

A clip moved to the macOS Trash no longer appears in Pending deletion. To restore it:

  1. Open the Trash in Finder. Files from external disks appear here too.
  2. Drag the file to its previous location or right-click it and choose Put Back.
  3. Import the file again in Merceq (see Chapter 1).

If you emptied the Trash, you can’t restore the file from there anymore. You’ll need to restore it from a separate video backup, if you have one.
