General commands

These commands always work in the main window.

Shortcut	Action
⌘O	Open Import.
⌘E	Open Export.
⌘F	Go to the search box. The text in the box is selected.
⌘,	Open Settings.
⌘K	Open or close the shortcuts window.
⌘1	Go to Overview. If you’re in Lens, it also exits Lens.
⌘2	Switch to list view. Its name in the menu is Index.
⇧⌘R	Show the clip under the pointer in Finder.
⌘Z	Undo the last action.
Hold ⌘Z	Open Undo history.
Esc	Close the topmost layer. See What does Esc close? for details.

When a window is open (Settings, Export, Backups…), keys won’t reach the library behind it. ⌘ shortcuts also won’t work. The only exception is ⌘K.
