Variable frame rate warning

Phones sometimes record video with a variable frame rate (VFR). For these clips, a Variable frame rate badge appears in the top left of the video. The warning appears in both preview and Lens view.

Hover over it to see this explanation: “Phones record at a variable frame rate; in some editing apps, audio and video can drift out of sync over time.”

The badge is informational; it doesn’t change the clip. Use it as a reminder before you start editing. To see the badge in an older library, reimport the clip’s folder.
