Open the shortcuts window

  1. Press ⌘K. You can also click the ⌘K button at the right of the bottom bar, or choose Help → Shortcuts….
  2. The Keyboard Shortcuts window opens. There are three tabs at the top: In the library, In preview, and In comparison. You can also move between tabs with ← / → and Home / End.
  3. You’ll see a drawing of a Mac keyboard in the window. A short name appears below each used key, such as “reject”, “hold”, or “grab”.
  4. Decision keys (F, R, 0, 1–9) are amber.
  5. Hover over a key. Its full description and condition appear at the bottom of the window, for example, “When preview is turned off”.
  6. Combinations using ⌘ and ⇧ appear in a table below the keyboard.
  7. Close the window with Esc or press ⌘K again.

The six most-used shortcuts are also buttons at the right of the bottom bar: preview Space · hold F · reject R · to folder 1–9 · search ⌘F · Lens M. The to folder button opens the Folders wing; the number key is what assigns the clip to a folder. For details: Section 1: Get to know the Merceq screen.

There’s no search field in the window. Find the key in the keyboard drawing.

The window doesn’t show every shortcut. You can also find context-dependent actions in this section, such as ⌘K and Enter to choose an opponent.
