14 · Activate and manage your license

Check your license status

  1. Open Settings → License.
  2. Check the status field.
  3. If you don’t have a license, or if you do, open the Merceq License window with the Activate… or Manage… button.
  4. Review the access type shown and any end dates.

If you don’t have a license, the window says “No license” — Importing and culling are available. A license is required to export. A red dot also appears next to the License page in Settings’ left list.

Importing and culling are available without a license. You need an active license to export. Situations such as a trial, Alpha, or Contributor access are also shown in the license window.
