Delete what Sense has learned

You may want to delete the analysis information Sense has drawn from your videos and start over. To do that:

1. Open Settings → Sense.
2. Press Delete… in the What Sense has learned row.
3. Read “Delete what Sense has learned?” and confirm with Delete.

Deleted information: Speech text generated automatically by Sense, on-screen text in videos, visual search information, audio traces, and tags added by Sense.

Kept information: Your culling decisions, folders, notes, and speech sentences you’ve corrected manually.

After deletion, Sense is paused and won’t start analysing again automatically. To run it again, use Settings → Sense → Start Now or the Resume button in Machine. If there is no analysis data left to delete, the button appears disabled and the message “There is nothing to clear right now.” appears.

This doesn’t remove Sense’s downloaded model files. To delete those, follow the Settings → Storage → Remove Sense files instructions in the next section.
