Replace a clip or move it to another slot

When you find a better take for a section, you don’t need to recreate the list.

Replace with another clip

1. Select the new clip from your library.
2. Click the filled slot you want to replace or drop the clip onto it.
3. Check the image in the slot.

If the new clip isn’t already in another slot in this list, it takes the old clip’s place. The old clip is only removed from the list; it stays in your library and folders.

Swap two clips in the list

1. Pick up the clip in a filled slot.
2. Drag it to another filled slot.
3. Check that the two clips have swapped places.

If you move a clip to an empty slot, its previous slot becomes empty. The same clip won’t appear twice in one list; it simply changes places.
