Defect markers aren't in the project

If you can’t see missed-focus or shake markers in the editing project:

  1. Check that Add defects as markers is on during export.
  2. Make sure the clip has been scanned. Scanning runs in the background at the lowest priority; it may not progress until Sense or other demanding jobs finish.
  3. Clips longer than 30 minutes aren’t scanned. Neither are clips whose disk isn’t connected or whose file can’t be reached.

No marker is created if no defect was detected in the clip. For details, see Defect scanning in Chapter 11.
