I can't see a clip I added to a folder

  1. Check that you opened the right folder.
  2. Clear active searches and filters.
  3. Open the clip in preview and check its folder membership.
  4. Consider whether pressing the same folder number a second time removed it from the folder.
  5. If the last action was wrong, undo it with ⌘Z.

Sending a clip to a folder by number in the main view may move the workflow to another clip. In preview, the same action keeps you on the clip. Seeing another clip on screen doesn’t mean the previous one wasn’t added.

If you used F or R to decide on a clip, it may have left the clip folders. If you can’t see it in the folder, check the On hold and Rejected groups.

After export, a Merceq folder is considered complete and disappears. Once every clip in a Merceq folder has been delivered, the folder is removed from Merceq; this isn’t an error. The clips remain in your library, and you can find them in the Delivered view. To work on them again, use Return delivered clips to queue to queue them, then place them in a Merceq folder again with 1–9. If one of the clips couldn’t be written to the output, the folder won’t disappear; check the transfer report. Details: Your library after delivery.
