Merge records for the same camera

If footage from one camera appears as two separate cameras in your library, you can merge the records:

1. Open the Camera names window.
2. Give the two records you want to merge the same name.
3. Press Enter or leave the field.
4. Check the result in the camera list and on the relevant clips.

The window also has this note: “Give two cameras the same name to merge them.”

• Uppercase and lowercase don’t matter: “gopro” and “GoPro” count as the same name.
• Important: If one of the records you merge has a clock correction, that correction is now applied to all clips shown under that name.

Use different names if you want to keep separate devices apart.
