Queued jobs after closing

Jobs you start while another task is running wait in a queue. This queue isn’t lost if Merceq closes normally or crashes unexpectedly. When you reopen the app, you’ll see “There were {n} queued jobs before Merceq closed.” The names and destinations of waiting jobs are listed too.

  1. Choose Resume to continue the jobs. They’ll start one by one.
  2. Choose Cancel if you want to cancel the queue. Canceled jobs won’t be offered again the next time you open the app.

Queued jobs don’t start automatically without your confirmation. Merceq checks the source and destination disks again before starting each job. If a disk isn’t connected, it waits and says “Continues when {kart} is connected”. If it finds a disk with the wrong name, the job won’t start. If it can’t read the disk’s identity at that time, it says “Couldn’t read the disk’s identity”; the job can continue when the disk responds again.

If you choose Cancel for a job in Machine, Merceq won’t offer that job again the next time you open the app.
