6 · Compare takes and choose what to use
Which comparison should I use?
| What do you want to do? | Tool to use |
|---|---|
| I want to see which of two takes has better delivery, framing, or movement. | Duel: watch two videos side by side. The screen that opens is called Which one stays? |
| I want to compare the files’ duration, resolution, size, or codec. | Copy differences: compare file details side by side. The screen that opens is called Which one is more complete? |
| I haven’t found other takes to compare yet. | Use G to search for other takes or similar scenes. |
Similar takes and exact copies are different things. Different attempts at the same subject may look similar but they’re separate videos. The Any other takes of this? search in the G menu helps you find similar takes; to see exact copies, use the copy badge and the V key.
