Export your selections
Export your footage as you’ve organized it. Keep the folder structure you created in Merceq, name your files with your own rules, and prepare all your work as an organized project. Verify files as they’re copied, and securely back up the same project to a second disk if you like. Bring your selected scenes, notes, tags, and shot lists into your editing app. When export is done, you’ll have more than just your videos: you’ll have an organized, verified project ready to work on.
You’ve watched, culled, and sorted your footage into folders. Now you can export this organization to a disk, give your files the names you want, and prepare a project file to open in your editing app if you like.
Export has two stages: Summary and destination and layout selection. After you start, Merceq keeps working in the background. You can work with your other clips while it runs.
