Reset the whole library

This option asks for a second confirmation.

  1. Press Reset the whole library in the bubble. Its explanation says: “Decisions, scenes, folders, tags, and notes are removed; your videos stay on disk. The previous state is backed up, and you can return if you want. You’ll need to import the clips again.”
  2. Read the confirmation window: “All your decisions, scenes, folders, tags, and notes will be deleted. Your delivery and import history will also be removed. Thumbnails and previews will be removed from disk. Your videos won’t be touched — they’ll stay where they are.”
  3. Read the warning: “⌘Z won’t restore this. The previous state is backed up; you can restore it from Backups.”
  4. If you’re sure, press Yes, reset the library.

After this, the library is empty. You’ll need to import your clips again to use them.
