Opening and an empty library

When you open Merceq, you’ll see a brief opening screen. It says MERCEQ · by Vaga Studio and “Your videos are never uploaded · Analysis runs entirely on device”. The current task appears below, for example, “Checking license…” or “Opening library…”.

If you haven’t added any clips yet, you’ll see this message in the middle of the screen: “There are no videos here yet.” To get started, drag a folder into the Merceq window or click Import at the top left.

When there are no clips in the library, the rail, view row, and barcode are hidden. Only the back up button appears in the bottom bar. You can restore a backup you made earlier from here. The other parts appear when you add your first clips.
