Read battery and disk status

The bottom section of Machine has power, disks, and Sense icons. Hover over an icon to see its detailed status.

Power status:

• While plugged in, it may say “Plugged in — working without pauses”.
• On battery, it may say “On battery %n — saving power”.
• When the battery drops below 20%, relevant jobs are put on hold; you’ll see “Battery %n — resumes when plugged in”. This threshold is fixed and can’t be changed in settings.

Disk status:

Information shown	Meaning
{ad} · {n} clips	The disk is connected. Your library has clips on that disk.
{ad} — not connected · {n} clips	The disk isn’t connected right now.
{ad} — waiting	A job is waiting for this disk to be connected.
{ad} — not the card for this transfer	A disk with the same name was connected, but it’s the wrong one. Connect the card or disk where the job started.

If no disks are connected, the “Connected cards and disks appear here” message is shown.
