Open the export window
- Click the Export button in the top bar or press ⌘E. You can also open the same window from the File → Export… menu.
- Each time the window opens, you’ll see the Summary stage and default selections.
When you’ve rejected or placed all clips awaiting a decision into folders, you’ll also see an Export button in the middle of the empty grid. This button opens the same window.
Export is temporarily unavailable during some operations. The Export button is disabled and ⌘E won’t work in these cases:
- An import is in progress.
- The library is being reset, restored from a backup, or cleaned.
If an export is already in progress, you can prepare a new one. The new operation will be queued. We explain how this works in Start the export.
You need a license to export. If your license isn’t active, the start button is disabled. Below it, you’ll see the warning “Exporting needs a license. Activate one in the License window.” The License link beside it takes you to Settings → License. You don’t need a license to import or cull.
