Open the Pending deletion window
Pending deletion is the last of the six marked icons on the left rail. Hover over it to see its name and number of clips: “Pending deletion · {n}”. The icon is dim when the list is empty.
At the top of the window, the summary says: “{n} clips · {boyut} · oldest {tarih}”. If any clips are on a disconnected disk: “{n} clips are on a disk that isn’t connected; their size isn’t included.”
The list columns are: File, Size, Previous location, Date.
A status may appear under a row:
- Disk not connected: the disk containing the source isn’t connected. You can’t move the file to the Trash.
- If the video’s file was never moved on disk, meaning the clip was only removed from the list, you can restore it even while the disk is disconnected. The clip appears offline in the library, but it isn’t lost.
- A clip whose file was moved to the Trash won’t return while the disk is disconnected. Merceq counts it separately as “disk not connected”; the clip waits in Pending deletion and isn’t deleted. Connect the disk and try again.
- File not found: the file can’t be found in its previous location anymore. You can’t select this row.
If the list is empty, it says “No clips are pending deletion.”
The window won’t close while a task is running; ✕, Esc, and clicking outside put it on hold.
