Save your search

You can save searches you use often instead of typing them again each time.

  1. Type your search in the search box and add anything you want to exclude, if needed.
  2. Click the bookmark icon in the search box (Save this search). This icon appears only when there’s a search or excluded item.
  3. Type an easy-to-remember name in the Name field, such as Night shoots.
  4. Click Save. To change your mind, click Cancel.
  5. To open it later, click the chip in All filters (L) → What → Saved searches. All filters closes and the saved search is set up in the search box.

What gets saved? The conditions and exclusions you’ve added to the search box. Filters opened from Quick filters or All filters, folders, tags, and days are not saved. If you want a filter included in a saved search, add it by typing it in the search box (such as vertical, 4k, or istanbul).

Opening a saved search first clears all active refinements, then sets up the search.

Saving a search doesn’t make copies of video files; it lets you reopen the same search conditions later.

If you save with the same name, the previous entry is updated. To delete a saved search, hover over its chip and click × (Delete this saved search); your clips won’t be deleted. You can’t rename a saved search directly. Save it under a new name and remove the old entry.
