Where are the filters?

Instead of describing a scene, you can filter your footage by its properties. You can open filters in two places:

Place	How to open it	What’s inside?
Quick filters	Click the filter icon on the left rail.	The Clean up · Weed out · Find stages.
All filters	Press the L key or click the L button at the bottom of the rail.	All filters, in four sections.

Your selected filters apply together. Clips that meet every condition you add from different rows remain. For example, if you choose iPhone as the Camera and then choose With speech, clips that meet both conditions remain.

You can make one selection per row. If you choose another condition in the same row, it replaces the previous one.

Applying a filter in Lens view takes you back to Overview. When you choose a filter from Quick filters, All filters, or the search box, Merceq switches to this view and applies the condition to your clips. The rail’s marks, barcode, folders, calendar, and tags also take you to Overview. To return to culling, click Continue culling in the Culling wing; open filters close and you return to where you left off.
