Speech text is missing or wrong

1. Listen to check that the clip contains speech.
2. Confirm that Sense is on and its download is complete.
3. Check the status of speech preparation in the Machine panel.
4. Check the language spoken in the video in Settings → Sense.
5. If needed, use the offered Transcribe again task.

If the text is ready, correct the wrong sentence with the pencil button. Enter saves; Esc discards your changes.

A — in the Speech field in list view doesn’t mean silence was detected; the information may not have been prepared yet.

If subtitles don’t appear below the image, check Settings → Playback → Show subtitles. When on, subtitles appear while the video plays (in Space and Lens) and while scrubbing the timeline; they don’t appear during silence between two sentences or for clips whose speech text isn’t ready yet. Speech text may still be available in the panel when this preference is off.
